졸업까지의 이정표

하와이 공립학교의 고등학교 졸업 요건은 모든 학생이 이수할 수 있는 엄격한 학습 기준을 설정하고 있습니다:

• 개인의 목표와 열망을 실현합니다.
• 글로벌 사회에서 긍정적으로 기여하고 경쟁하는 데 필요한 태도, 지식, 기술을 갖추세요.
• 시민으로서의 권리와 책임을 행사하세요.
• 교정이 필요 없이 대학 교육 및/또는 직업을 추구합니다.

학업 및 일반 학습 결과 필수 과목을 이수하면 고등학교 졸업장을 받는다.

개인 전환 계획

그만큼 Personal Transition Plan (PTP)  is a graduation requirement for all Hawaiʻi public high school students. It is an individualized plan that helps students identify their goals and prepare for life after high school, whether that includes postsecondary education, career and technical training, military service, or entering the workforce. 

The PTP is developed and updated throughout high school through a collaborative process involving the student, their parent(s)/guardian(s), and school personnel to support a successful transition to adult life.

The PTP supports the Vision of a Hawaiʻi Public School Graduate by helping students become lifelong learners who are globally competitive and locally committed. Graduates will:

• Apply academic knowledge and an innovative mindset to think critically, communicate effectively, and create impactful contributions in the pursuit of excellence. 
• Be resilient and adaptable to an ever-changing world. Graduates will take initiative in charting their next steps to advance their life journey, such as pursuing postsecondary education, careers, entrepreneurship, service, or exploration. 
• Cultivate well-being and compassion, care for self and others, and build deep roots in Hawaiʻi to fulfill their kuleana and strengthen their community.

신용 수여

0.50 학점은 최종 학년의 첫 번째 학기가 끝날 때 발급되며, PTP 요소를 충족한 것에 대해 학생의 공식 성적 증명서에 학점 또는 무학점으로 기재됩니다.

학생들이 엄격하고 연령에 적합한 학습 기준에 노출되도록 보장하기 위해 교육부가 사용하는 기준 목록입니다. 기준은 커리큘럼이 아니라 각 학년에서 학생들이 알아야 하고 할 수 있어야 하는 것에 대한 기대치입니다.
