The Department’s “Lenei e Fesoasoani” initiative supports student mental health and well-being through schoolwide prevention efforts, early intervention and more intensive services for students who need additional support. The initiative helps students build mental health awareness, develop essential skills and access resources and support from trained school staff, ensuring they feel connected, capable and cared for.

The Department’s Office of Student Support Services is providing free resources through ParentGuidance.org to support students, families and staff. The platform partners with schools nationwide to help families support children’s mental health and well-being.
