当部門では、優先順位に従って、以下の資格を持つ候補者を求めています。

• Bachelor’s degree and completion of a State-Approved Teacher Education Program (SATEP), a full teacher-training program that includes student teaching in a Grade K-12 setting.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.

申請は各学年から受け付けています 7月1日から3月15日まで. 

採用プロセス

1. オンラインで申請してください。
2. 優先校は申請書を審査し、面接や追加情報を求めて申請者に連絡する場合があります。
3. 採用決定と、採用前に必要な書類を提出するための指示を受け取ります。
4. 学校の地区事務所で指紋採取と身元調査を完了してください。このプロセスが完了し、許可が下りるまで、応募者は就労を開始できません。
5. 作業を開始するための通知を受け取ります。

重要：  すべての申請の連絡は電子メールで送信されます。4 月 15 日までに完了していない申請は自動的に取り下げられます。

要件

1. Substitute Teacher Certification

州認定教員養成プログラム (SATEP) を修了した者にとっては必要ありません。

学士号を取得しているが教員養成を受けていない方には必須です（80% 以上の合格点を得て認定プログラムを修了する必要があります）。

学士号未満の申請者には必須（最低でも高校卒業証書または同等の資格、さらに認定プログラムの修了）。

Substitute teacher certifications are valid for five years and must be renewed to continue employment. Certifications may be obtained using one of the following programs:

• The Department’s Community School for Adults (CSA)

• 代講 Division Subskills
• The Master Teacher: Substitute Teacher Online Training
• ハワイ大学マノア校 (UHM)、教育学部 (COE)

2. トランスクリプト

正式な成績証明書を申請書と一緒に提出する必要があります。 

当省は外国の資格を評価しません。申請者は、外国の資格の評価を以下から取得する必要があります。

3. 結核（TB）検査クリアランス

申請日から1年以内に発行された有効な結核検査合格証明書が必要です。

重要： 提出されたすべての書類は当局の所有物となり、返却されません。

wages & Benefits

Substitute teachers are paid a daily rate based on their qualifications. They are not eligible for the Employees’ Retirement System but may participate in a 403(b) 税控除年金（TSA）プラン賃金には社会保障税とメディケア税が課されます。

クラスIII

Substitute teachers who meet any one or all of the following:

• ハワイ州認可の教師。
• 州認定教員養成プログラム (SATEP) を修了した教師 (現職および退職した HIDOE 教師を含む)。

1日あたりの料金: $194.01

クラス II

Substitute teachers who possess a bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent (see above).

1日あたりの料金: $179.50

クラスI

Substitute teachers who do not possess a bachelor’s degree but meet specific employment requirements set by the Department.
