1. Substitute Teacher Certification
Substitute teacher certifications are valid for five years and must be renewed to continue employment. Certifications may be obtained using one of the following programs:
- The Department’s Community School for Adults (CSA)
- Aʻo Pani Division Subskills
- The Master Teacher: Substitute Teacher Online Training
- Ke Kulanui o Hawaiʻi ma Mānoa (UHM), Ke Kulanui o ka Hoʻonaʻauao (COE)
- Pono ʻia no ka poʻe noi me ka liʻiliʻi o ke kēkelē laepua (ka liʻiliʻi o kahi diploma kula kiʻekiʻe a i ʻole like, me ka hoʻopau ʻana i kahi papahana hōʻoia).
