All school bus applicants (both paid and free-status riders) must apply on a quarterly basis per the schedule provided below:

• Quý 1: Từ ngày 14 tháng 7 đến ngày 22 tháng 8 năm 2025
• Quý 2: Từ ngày 22 tháng 9 đến ngày 17 tháng 10 năm 2025
• Quý 3: Từ ngày 12 tháng 12 năm 2025 đến ngày 9 tháng 1 năm 2026
• Quarter 4: March 2 to March 27, 2026

The online application portal will open at 8 a.m. HST on Monday, March 2, 2026.
Due to a high volume of users, the application may experience longer-than-normal load times. In some cases, the system may time out. We appreciate your patience Và encourage you to try again if this occurs.

Applications must be submitted on a QUARTERLY basis Và will not be accepted outside of the indicated periods. Please plan accordingly.

TỔNG QUÁT Điều kiện đủ

Để đủ điều kiện sử dụng dịch vụ xe buýt thường xuyên:

• Học sinh phải đang theo học tại một trường công lập HIDOE có dịch vụ xe buýt.
• Học sinh từ lớp mẫu giáo đến lớp 5 phải sống cách trường nhà mình 1 dặm trở lên.
• Học sinh từ lớp 6 đến lớp 12 phải sống cách trường nhà mình 1,5 dặm trở lên.

 Dịch vụ xe buýt thông thường không áp dụng cho những sinh viên:

• Cư trú trong phạm vi khoảng cách đi bộ tối thiểu đạt yêu cầu.
  • Khu vực đi bộ được tính từ địa chỉ nhà được ghi lại trong Infinite Campus đến lối vào công cộng gần nhất của khuôn viên trường (không phải từ văn phòng chính).
• Học sinh theo học tại trường có Ngoại lệ về mặt địa lý (GE).
• Cần di chuyển đến những nơi khác ngoài nơi ở của họ.
• Theo học tại một trường không có dịch vụ xe buýt đưa đón học sinh.

Các bước để áp dụng

2. Visit the online portal to apply online.
   • Cần phải có số thẻ sinh viên hợp lệ để nộp đơn. 
   • Upon application review by your school, an email notification shall be sent rendering their decision Và next steps.
   • Thanh toán trực tuyến sẽ được xử lý thông qua EZ School Pay; các tùy chọn thanh toán bằng xe buýt chỉ khả dụng sau đó đơn đăng ký đã được nhà trường chấp thuận.
   • If payment is not received by the quarterly deadline, your approved application will be removed Và your student may lose their seat on the bus.
3. For manual application submission (in-person at your school office), complete both sides of the application form; indicate the type of service Và payment in Part III of the application.  
   • You will be notified of approval or disapproval of your bus application by your school either by email Và/or phone call.
   • In-person payment shall be collected upon approval of the application by your school.  Approved payment options include:

   • If payment is not received by the quarterly deadline, your approved application will be removed Và your student may lose their seat on the bus.
4. Students applying for free bus transportation shall complete Part IV of the application Và indicate the reason(s) for eligibility.
5. Your child will be issued a temporary bus pass to use until the permanent pass is available. Please have your student check in with the office staff to receive their permanent bus pass card. The temporary bus pass must be surrendered upon receipt of the permanent bus pass card. Bus passes are non transferable Và are valid only on the assigned bus route Và quarter.

Free Bus Eligibility

Free bus eligibility is evaluated on an individual basis.  Students attending Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) schools shall also qualify on an individual basis. Students who meet one or more of the following criteria are eligible to receive a free quarterly bus pass:

• Student qualifies for the free lunch program based on household income information. (Note: Students who qualify for reduced-price lunches are not eligible for a free bus pass).

• Student is home displaced Và eligible for benefits under the McKinney-Vento Act (MVA).

• Student has at least three older siblings who are fare-paying bus riders at their respective schools; one free paid rider per three paid riders.

If your child meets one or more of these qualifiers, please complete Part III of the bus pass application form, making sure to check off all of the qualifying categories that apply Và select the appropriate pass option. Any inquiries regarding free pass eligibility should be directed to the school.
