More than 70 public school students across Hawaiʻi placed in the Top 3 across various categories at the 2025 Hawaiʻi State Science & Engineering Fair.
Elementary and middle school students competed in the junior division, while high school students took part in the senior division. Categories spanned animal sciences, biochemistry, environmental engineering, physics, astronomy and more.
The state science fair took place March 31-April 2 at the Neal S. Blaisdell Exhibition Hall.
Top winners will go on to represent Hawaiʻi at the International Science & Engineering Fair, happening May 10-16 in Columbus, Ohio.
