As mobile phones continue to shape the classroom experience, the Hawai‘i State Department of Education has launched a multi-phase effort to gather feedback from students (grades 3-12), teachers, staff and families. A survey is open from April 21 through May 5, 2025, via Panorama.

Emails inviting students and staff to participate in the survey were sent to Department email accounts and schools helped to distribute the survey to families. Each of the surveys can be accessed below as well.

Your input will help the Department better understand how phones are impacting learning and inform any future policy recommendations.
