School Year 2025-26 Application Periods

Ang tanan nga mga aplikante sa school bus (parehong bayad ug libre nga mga sakay sa status) kinahanglang mag-aplay kada quarterly sumala sa eskedyul nga gihatag sa ubos:

• Quarter 1: July 14 to Aug. 15, 2025
• Quarter 2: Sept. 22 to Oct. 17, 2025
• Quarter 3: Dec. 12, 2025 to Jan. 9, 2026
• Quarter 4: Mar. 2 to Mar. 27, 2026

Kinatibuk-ang Kwalipikado

Aron mahimong kwalipikado alang sa regular nga serbisyo sa bus:

• Ang mga estudyante kinahanglang aktibong ma-enrol sa usa ka publikong eskwelahan sa HIDOE nga adunay magamit nga serbisyo sa bus.
• Ang mga estudyante sa mga grado nga K-5 kinahanglang magpuyo og 1 ka milya o labaw pa gikan sa ilang balay nga eskwelahan.
• Ang mga estudyante sa grade 6-12 kinahanglang magpuyo ug 1.5 ka milya o labaw pa gikan sa ilang balay nga eskwelahan.

 Ang mga regular nga serbisyo sa bus dili magamit sa mga estudyante nga:

• Reside within the minimum qualifying distance walk zone.
  • Walk zone is calculated from the recorded home address in Infinite Campus to the nearest public access for the school campus (not from the main office).
• Students attending school on a Geographical Exception (GE).
• Nagkinahanglan og transportasyon ngadto sa mga destinasyon gawas sa ilang panimalay.
• Attend a school that does not have school bus services.

Mga Lakang sa Pag-aplay

1. I-download ang SY 2025-2026 HIDOE School Bus Handbook Application Form (PDF) and review.
2. For online applications, please use the Apply Online Icon or click here. 
   • A valid student ID number is required to apply. 
   • Upon application review by your school, an email notification shall be sent rendering their decision and next steps.
   • Online payments shall be processed via EZ School Pay; bus payment options shall only be available after the application has been approved by the school.
   • If payment is not received by the quarterly deadline, your approved application will be removed and your student may lose their seat on the bus.
3. For manual application submission (in-person at your school office), complete both sides of the application form; indicate the type of service and payment in Part III of the application.  
   • You will be notified of approval or disapproval of your bus application by your school either by email and/or phone call.
   • In-person payment shall be collected upon approval of the application by your school.  Approved payment options include:
     • Cash
     • Money Order and/or Cashier’s Check
     • NO PERSONAL CHECKS
   • If payment is not received by the quarterly deadline, your approved application will be removed and your student may lose their seat on the bus.
4. Students applying for free bus transportation shall complete Part IV of the application and indicate the reason(s) for eligibility.
5. Ang imong anak hatagan ug temporaryo nga bus pass aron magamit hangtod nga magamit ang permanenteng pass. Palihug ipa-check in ang imong estudyante sa mga kawani sa opisina aron madawat ang ilang permanenteng bus pass card. Ang temporaryo nga bus pass kinahanglang i-surrender kung madawat na ang permanent bus pass card. Ang mga bus pass dili mabalhin ug balido lamang sa gi-assign nga ruta sa bus ug quarter.

Libre nga Kwalipikado sa Bus

Free bus eligibility is evaluated on an individual basis.  Students attending Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) schools shall also qualify on an individual basis. Ang mga estudyante nga nakab-ot ang usa o daghan pa sa mga musunud nga pamatasan kwalipikado nga makadawat usa ka libre nga quarterly bus pass:

• Ang estudyante kuwalipikado alang sa libre nga programa sa paniudto base sa impormasyon sa kita sa panimalay. (Pahinumdom: Ang mga estudyante nga kuwalipikado alang sa pinamubo nga presyo sa paniudto dili kwalipikado alang sa usa ka libre nga bus pass).
• Ang estudyante kay foster child.
• Student is home displaced and eligible for benefits under the McKinney-Vento Act (MVA).
• Ang estudyante gimandoan sa Departamento sa pag-eskwela sa usa ka eskwelahan sa gawas sa gitudlo nga attendance area.
• Ang estudyante adunay labing menos tulo ka mga magulang nga nagbayad sa pamasahe sa bus sa ilang mga eskuylahan; usa ka libre nga bayad nga rider matag tulo nga bayad nga rider.

Kung nahimamat sa imong anak ang usa o daghan pa niini nga mga kwalipikado, palihug kompletoha ang Part III sa porma sa aplikasyon sa bus pass, pagsiguro nga susihon ang tanan nga mga kategorya nga kwalipikado nga magamit ug pilia ang angay nga kapilian sa pass.
