Several Hawaiʻi public schools along Oʻahu’s North Shore and Windward area will be closed on Friday, March 20, due to heavy rains and flooding impacting the area.
Public schools statewide are on spring break this week so students and teachers are not scheduled to be on campus.
The following schools will be closed:
- Haleʻiwa Elementary
- Hauʻula Elementary
- Ka‘a‘awa Elementary
- Lāʻie Elementary
- ʻO ke kula haʻahaʻa kahakai o Sunset Beach
- Waiāhole Elementary
- Waialua Elementary
- Waialua High & Intermediate
