In August, we will share the report on community aspirations and definitions of student success, as identified from the feedback received from students, parents, educators, and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n While we synthesize the results of our outreach, we want to encourage everyone to continue the conversation. The feedback we receive for the Strategic Plan review will also be used for the state\u2019s ESSA plan, which will be submitted to the U.S. Department of Education in early 2017.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n Governor Ige formed an ESSA Task Force to further explore opportunities under ESSA. The Governor\u2019s ESSA Task Force is planning a July 9 summit \u2014 register here<\/a> \u2014 and town hall meetings.
