Poe as its executive director overseeing the planning, coordination, monitoring and improvement of the Board\u2019s operations.\u00a0The state Constitution grants the Board the power to formulate statewide educational policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201c\u6211\u5f88\u9ad8\u5174\u6709\u673a\u4f1a\u6388\u6743\u6559\u80b2\u59d4\u5458\u4f1a\u901a\u8fc7\u6218\u7565\u65b9\u5411\u3001\u900f\u660e\u7684\u653f\u7b56\u5236\u5b9a\u3001\u6709\u6548\u7684\u76d1\u7763\u3001\u5168\u9762\u7684\u7cfb\u7edf\u3001\u6709\u610f\u4e49\u7684\u53c2\u4e0e\u548c\u79ef\u6781\u7684\u5021\u5bfc\u6765\u9886\u5bfc\u516c\u5171\u6559\u80b2\u7cfb\u7edf\uff0c\u201dPoe \u8bf4\u9053\uff0c\u4ed6\u7684\u4efb\u547d\u5c06\u4e8e 10 \u6708 3 \u65e5\u751f\u6548\u3002<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In this role, Poe will serve as the liaison between the Hawai\u02bbi State Department of Education\u2019s (HIDOE) leadership and Board members for agendas, communications and all other matters. He will assist with the overall coordination and management of the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/boe.hawaii.gov\/joint-strategic-plan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u6218\u7565\u8ba1\u5212<\/a>\u00a0\u9884\u671f\u6210\u679c\u5e76\u7ba1\u7406\u8463\u4e8b\u4f1a\u548c HIDOE \u9886\u5bfc\u5c42\u4e4b\u95f4\u7684\u653f\u7b56\u3001\u7a0b\u5e8f\u548c\u8ba1\u5212\u3002<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Poe brings over two decades of leadership experience in education, government and nonprofit institutions in Hawai\u02bbi. He currently serves as the chief advocate and community engagement director at the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
