With the latest cohort of newly certified teachers, there are now 569 in Hawai\u2018i who hold this designation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A luncheon and ceremony was held at the Honolulu Country Club on April 11 to recognize the board-certified teachers. The event was sponsored by the Hawai\u2018i State Department of Education (HIDOE), Hawai\u2018i Education Association (HEA), Hawai\u2019i State Teachers Association (HSTA), Hawai\u2018i NBCTs Collective and the Hawai\u2018i Teacher Standards Board.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u0110\u1ec3 \u0111\u1ea1t \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c ho\u1eb7c duy tr\u00ec ch\u1ee9ng nh\u1eadn n\u00e0y, c\u00e1c nh\u00e0 gi\u00e1o d\u1ee5c ph\u1ea3i c\u1eadp nh\u1eadt c\u00e1c chi\u1ebfn l\u01b0\u1ee3c m\u1edbi nh\u1ea5t v\u00e0 c\u00e1c ph\u01b0\u01a1ng ph\u00e1p hay nh\u1ea5t trong gi\u00e1o d\u1ee5c. \u0110\u00e2y l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t qu\u00e1 tr\u00ecnh nghi\u00eam ng\u1eb7t c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 m\u1ea5t t\u1eeb m\u1ed9t \u0111\u1ebfn ba n\u0103m v\u00e0 bao g\u1ed3m vi\u1ec7c ng\u01b0\u1eddi n\u1ed9p \u0111\u01a1n n\u1ed9p m\u1ed9t danh m\u1ee5c \u0111\u1ea7u t\u01b0 to\u00e0n di\u1ec7n.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cAchieving National Board Certification is a testament to a teacher\u2019s dedication to professional excellence and lifelong learning,\u201d&nbsp; HIDOE Superintendent Keith Hayashi said. \u201cThese educators aren\u2019t just improving their own practice \u2014 they\u2019re strengthening their schools, supporting their colleagues, and ultimately creating better outcomes for students.
