Transportation is provided for about 7,000 student riders on O\u02bbahu and 9,000 students on neighbor islands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns double_col_sidebar is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column left_col is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">School Year 2025-26 Application Periods<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Ang lahat ng aplikante ng school bus (parehong may bayad at walang bayad na mga sakay) ay dapat mag-aplay kada quarterly alinsunod sa iskedyul na ibinigay sa ibaba:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Quarter 1: July 14 to Aug. 22, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quarter 2: Sept. 22 to Oct. 17, 2025<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quarter 3: Dec. 12, 2025 to Jan. 9, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Quarter 4: March 2 to March 27, 2026<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>The online application portal will open at 8 a.m. HST on Monday, March 2, 2026.<br>Due to a high volume of users, the application may experience longer-than-normal load times. In some cases, the system may time out. We appreciate your patience and encourage you to try again if this occurs.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Ang mga aplikasyon ay dapat isumite sa isang QUARTERLY na batayan at hindi tatanggapin sa labas ng ipinahiwatig na mga panahon. Mangyaring magplano nang naaayon.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PANGKALAHATANG Kwalipikado<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Upang maging karapat-dapat para sa mga regular na serbisyo ng bus:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ang mga mag-aaral ay dapat na aktibong naka-enrol sa isang pampublikong paaralan ng HIDOE na may magagamit na serbisyo ng bus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ang mga mag-aaral sa mga baitang K-5 ay dapat manirahan ng 1 milya o higit pa mula sa kanilang tahanan na paaralan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ang mga mag-aaral sa baitang 6-12 ay dapat manirahan ng 1.5 milya o higit pa mula sa kanilang tahanan na paaralan.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>&nbsp;Ang mga regular na serbisyo ng bus ay hindi nalalapat sa mga mag-aaral na:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Reside within the minimum qualifying distance walk zone.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Walk zone is calculated from the recorded home address in Infinite Campus to the nearest public access for the school campus (not from the main office).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students attending school on a Geographical Exception (GE).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Nangangailangan ng transportasyon sa mga destinasyon maliban sa kanilang tahanan.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend a school that does not have school bus services.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">PROSESO NG APLIKASYON<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ang mga aplikasyon ay tinatanggap nang personal sa opisina ng administrasyon ng iyong paaralan o online.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Mga Hakbang para Mag-apply<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\" style=\"margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--10)\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button has-custom-font-size ghost positive custom_button border_bx-pos is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\" style=\"font-size:0.8rem\"><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/hi.etrition.com\/Modules\/ParentPortal\/Home.aspx?q=MDphYzA5NjUyNC05M2VlLTQ2NTAtOWY1OS0wNzJiNDAyZjc0MDY6MDo-\" class=\"wp-block-button__link has-text-color has-link-color has-border-color has-contrast-border-color wp-element-button\" style=\"border-width:2px;color:#010101;padding-top:12px;padding-right:20px;padding-bottom:12px;padding-left:20px\">Apply online<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>I-download ang <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiipublicschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/SY-2025-2026-School-Bus-Application-Handbook.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SY 2025-2026 HIDOE School Bus Handbook Application Form (PDF)<\/a> and review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/hi.etrition.com\/Modules\/ParentPortal\/Home.aspx?q=MDphYzA5NjUyNC05M2VlLTQ2NTAtOWY1OS0wNzJiNDAyZjc0MDY6MDo-\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Visit the online portal to apply online<\/a>. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>A valid student ID number is required to apply.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon application review by your school, an email notification shall be sent rendering their decision and next steps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Online payments shall be processed via EZ School Pay; bus payment options shall only be available<strong> after<\/strong> <strong>the application has been approved by the school.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If payment is not received by the quarterly deadline, your approved application will be removed and your student may lose their seat on the bus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For manual application submission (in-person at your school office), complete both sides of the application form; indicate the type of service and payment in Part III of the application.&nbsp;&nbsp;\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You will be notified of approval or disapproval of your bus application by your school either by email and\/or phone call.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>In-person payment shall be collected upon approval of the application by your school.&nbsp; Approved payment options include:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Cash<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Money Order and\/or Cashier\u2019s Check<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NO PERSONAL CHECKS<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If payment is not received by the quarterly deadline, your approved application will be removed and your student may lose their seat on the bus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students applying for free bus transportation shall complete Part IV of the application and indicate the reason(s) for eligibility.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Bibigyan ang iyong anak ng pansamantalang bus pass na gagamitin hanggang sa maging available ang permanenteng pass. Application forms are also available at the school administration office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Espesyal na Edukasyon: <a href=\"https:\/\/hawaiipublicschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/SY-2025-2026-Special-Education-Transportation-Manual.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SY 2025-26 HIDOE Special Education Transportation Magulang Information Manual (PDF)<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Libreng Bus Eligibility<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Free bus eligibility is evaluated on an individual basis.&nbsp; Students attending Community Eligibility Provision (CEP) schools shall also qualify on an individual basis.<\/strong> <strong>Ang mga mag-aaral na nakakatugon sa isa o higit pa sa mga sumusunod na pamantayan ay karapat-dapat na makatanggap ng libreng quarterly bus pass:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ang mag-aaral ay kuwalipikado para sa libreng programa ng tanghalian batay sa impormasyon sa kita ng sambahayan.
