Each year, a committee of librarians selects 12 outstanding picture books to be nominated for the award. Children are encouraged to read or listen to the nominated books and vote for their favorite in the spring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.neneaward.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u0e23\u0e32\u0e07\u0e27\u0e31\u0e25\u0e40\u0e19\u0e40\u0e19\u0e48 (\u0e40\u0e01\u0e23\u0e14 4-6)<\/a>: The Nene Award promotes reading and discussion of literature.
