With only two years to prepare students for high school, the model helps staff maximize every moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are incredibly proud of our staff\u2019s commitment to the middle school model,\u201d Principal Komarey Moss said. \u201cThis distinction validates and reinforces our practices, affirming that what we do is exactly what our adolescents need to be successful.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These three schools join Stevenson Middle and \u02bbEwa Makai Middle, which earned the distinction last year. Hawai\u02bbi\u2019s presence in this national program highlights how local schools are innovating to meet adolescents\u2019 needs while honoring community values.
