Deferral (PSVPD) Program provides all Department employees who earn vacation leave credits the ability to defer pay or compensation received for unused vacation leave credits after separation from service due to retirement. Employees can defer with either the State of Hawai\u02bbi Deferred Compensation (<a href=\"https:\/\/islandsavings.empower-retirement.com\/participant\/#\/sfd-login?accu=Hawaii\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Island $avings \uacc4\ud68d<\/a>) and\/or 403(b) Tax-Sheltered Annuity voluntary retirement plans.
