Civiles est\u00e1 comprometida con el cumplimiento general del Departamento con las normas y pol\u00edticas administrativas federales y departamentales estatales, que proh\u00edben estrictamente cualquier forma de discriminaci\u00f3n, incluido el acoso y\/o represalias basadas en una clase protegida, en lo que respecta a estudiantes, empleados y miembros del p\u00fablico que acceden a nuestros servicios, programas y actividades.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Las clases protegidas incluyen: raza; sexo, incluida la identidad de g\u00e9nero y la expresi\u00f3n de g\u00e9nero; edad; religi\u00f3n; color; ascendencia; orientaci\u00f3n sexual; ciudadan\u00eda; origen nacional; estado militar\/de veterano; discapacidad; estado civil\/de uni\u00f3n civil; antecedentes penales y judiciales; informaci\u00f3n gen\u00e9tica; historial crediticio; condici\u00f3n de v\u00edctima de violencia dom\u00e9stica o sexual. La CRCB supervisa el cumplimiento del Departamento con las leyes federales que incluyen, entre otras:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>T\u00edtulo IX de la Enmienda Educativa de 1972, tambi\u00e9n conocida como Ley Patsy T. Mink de Igualdad de Oportunidades en la Educaci\u00f3n;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>T\u00edtulo VI y VII de la Ley de Derechos Civiles de 1964, y enmendada en 1991;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ley de Igualdad de Oportunidades Educativas de 1974;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La Ley de Estadounidenses con Discapacidades de 1990 y sus modificaciones de 2008; y&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>La Ley de Rehabilitaci\u00f3n de 1973.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>La CRCB tambi\u00e9n coordina y responde en nombre del Departamento a las quejas presentadas por empleados individuales y\/o padres ante la Comisi\u00f3n de Igualdad de Oportunidades en el Empleo de los EE.
